Clinical Research Study Assistant II
Uma graduated from the University of California-San Diego with a B.S. in physiology and neuroscience and a minor in psychology. As an undergraduate student, she was a peer health educator, teaching assistant, and orientation leader. She is passionate about providing accessible healthcare and has worked at clinics that support underserved communities in Mexico and the greater St. Louis region. At the Miller lab, she is excited to gain experience in clinical research and hopes to be an advocate for people living with ALS. In her free time, Uma enjoys exploring local parks and coffee shops.
