Sebastian Monge Reyes

Sebastian is a junior at Washington University in St. Louis studying cognitive neuroscience and computer science. He joined the Miller Lab in 2022 and is researching neurofilament light protein in ALS in a G93A-SOD1 ALS rat model and mouse embryonic stem cells with Dr. Kathleen Schoch and Miwei Hu. Outside of the lab, Sebastian is involved in MEDED, the Minority Association of Premedical Students, the Association of Latin American Students, and WUSauce, WashU’s premier salsa dancing team. After graduation, Sebastian plans on taking a gap year to continue his research and pursue an MD/PhD.
